Deer Lake Beauty

We had the privilege of going to Deer Lake again this weekend. Paul took half day off and we headed up on Friday afternoon to enjoy some extra time together.  Since we were by ourselves, we went out to dinner in Dresser (near where his cousin lives).  We were just finishing up dinner and in walked Wayne and Rhonda.  The kids didn't see them so they went to surprise grandma & grandpa with Paul and everyone was so excited to see each other!  After dinner, we got groceries and had a relaxing night at the cabin.  Saturday, Docia & Colten joined us as did my mom & sister (and Cooper).  We enjoyed plenty of sunshine (after a brief thunderstorm right after Docia arrived), lots of yummy food, cards and time together.  What a rarity to have quality time with friends and the kids were behaved and loved being at  the lake as well.  I got a wonderful ski in on Sunday morning--after running 40 minutes total...I didn't want to let go the water was so beautiful.  And, my body even held up after that.
