We had a fun day on her birthday. First, I made pancakes--a special Mickey Mouse pancake just for her birthday too. Then, she had church preschool and brought yummy cookies (she brought popsicles to daycare the day before her birthday too!) to share with her friends. Lunch was at McDonalds with me & Alex...not every day she gets to eat at McDonalds, but thats what she wanted to do. Of course, we had to share an ice cream cone! Nap and playtime after lunch and then Grandma & Grandpa Mattson along with Craig, Tiffany, Katelyn and Brooklyn came over to celebrate Paul & Anna's birthday that night. We made pork tenderloin for the adults and quesadillas for the kids. Paul requested apple pie for dessert so Tiffany made him one and we had a little cake for Anna so she could have a cake on her actual birthday.
Anna got some cool new legos from her cousins (they're pink!) and pretty new clothes from Grandma & Grandpa. We gave her a rocking chair (a hand me down from Paul's co worker, but super cute and quite the hit at bedtime!) and Alex gave her a new swing for her swingset. More She thought it was a lot of fun to sing to Daddy and have everyone sing for her. More presents to open when we celebrate with Kiki and Grandma Haertel later!
