Fourth of July Weekend

We had a busy fourth weekend. We started off our weekend Thursday at the doctor with Alex which we already wrote about. Anna headed up to Green Lake while were at our ENT appointment, thanks to my mom who drove her up! We enjoyed Thursday evening with Paul's parents and playing hand & foot with them and Paul's grandparents. On the 4th, Rhonda & Wayne had all the family (and Tiffany and my family as well) up to celebrate. We always have a reason to celebrate given it's Craigs birthday, this year especially as he turned 30. We enjoyed time together at Green Lake with everyone. Anna & Katelyn played in the pool, had a little flag parade, swung in the hamock swing and provided lots of entertainment. The little kids tried to stay in the action. Here's Paul & Anna and Craig & Brooklyn on the swing...Anna loves to sit & look at the lake from thereFriday night, we took the girls out on the boat to see the fireworks. Anna liked seeing the fireworks although she did say they were loud, but then woud ask for more. Saturday, we headed over to Deer Lake. There, we joined up with my mom & sister, Pam & Dick, and Tim & Kate. We had visitors all around...Jim, Kim and the kids, Jane, friends of Tim & Kates, and friends of Kristins. It was a busy house, but we all managed to have fun. Paul & I especially enjoyed our bridge time with Jane & Mom, joined by Kevin. Sunday morning was blueberry pancake morning!! We were able to take Anna out on the boat that afternoon and had her doing "humpty dumpty" off the boat landing into the water. Her first experience swimming off the boat, of course in her life jacket! That evening, we attended a shower for one of Paul's friends. We were sad to leave Deer Lake; we might not make it up there again as a family until Labor Day!
