Fathers Day Weekend

Father's Day weekend was a busy weekend for us. Friday night was Docia's birthday and the kids decided they wanted to make a cake for her, even though they weren't invited to her party. With help from grandma, we made a tooth and toothbrush cake for Docia. She was so happy we did that for her and enjoyed a nice grown-up night out with Docia, Chris and their friends.

For father's day, the kids and I made some BBQ things for Paul. We made him an apron and mitt, decorated with their painting and handprints. Well received present! Saturday, we went up to Paul's parents for the day and enjoyed some time with them. Paul and I had tickets to guys & dolls so his parents watched the kids and we were able to have another night out! We came back that night. Father's day was spent at Paul's aunts Shells lake home at Poplar Lake, near Deer lake in St. Croix Falls. All the cousins were there and fun was had by all-even Anna who was off limits from being in the water.
