Labor Day Weekend

We headed up to Deer Lake Thursday night after the fair. It was pretty crumby weather most of the weekend, but it didn't stop us from having fun. Anna even convinced me & Paul to go swimming with her---brrr!!! On Sunday, Kim & Jim came up with Haley & Lucas and Kevin which was a lot of fun for Anna & Alex.

Started a new tradition this weekend where Anna had to write her "tasks" for the day on the white board. It was fun to see tasks like "eat, play, swim, nap, eat, play". We wish we could have tasks that easy :)

Alex also got apple pie that night. He really is "little big guy". He was saying "apple pie" so loud there was no mistaking he wanted it!!

Every night, Anna made up songs for us. Alex wanted to join the fun as well, in his adorable new jammies.

Monday, we headed over to Green Lake to visit with Paul's uncle Bruce from DC who was in town. We got another ride on papa's boat, but thankfully no swimming as it was very cold!!
