Green Lake Weekend

Great grandma & grandpa are leaving shortly for Arizona so we headed up to Green Lake for another fun weekend with them. First, Paul and I got in a much needed bike ride around our neighborhood. We were so relieved the humidity and heat went away!!

We spent Saturday on the lake with Paul's parents. We showed Anna how the cushions can be put on the boat and she is showing her true princess pose. Anna loved swimming off papa's boat, but scared grandma by jumping on her. Thankfully, I came in quickly and Daddy wasn't far behind to swim with our little miss fishy.

That night, we were able to play hand & foot with great grandma & grandpa. Sunday, the Bloomington Mattsons joined us as did Sam, Michele and Michele's grandkids from Arizona. Since it was quite breezy (and a bit chilly), we had to entertain ourselves inside. Here are the girls playing the keyboard. Anna has been taking piano lessons this summer so she was quick to show everyone her new songs.

Since Brooklyn and Luke (and Alex) were starting to not cooperate, some of us joined in on the picture.
