As some of you know, my extended family is traveling to New Zealand over the holidays. Unfortunately, the 2nd or 3rd day into their trip, they (except Jodi & Jeremy) were involved in a bus accident. My cousin Katie, a loyal reader of this blog, was the most seriously hurt, with spinal injuries. At first, she was unable to move and was air lifted to a major city (Aukland) hospital. Thankfully, she was able to have surgery on her and she is able to move now. We continue to pray for her speedy recovery and look forward to having their entire family home again.
