Anna's First Christmas

Anna had a great first Christmas. We enjoyed time with all our families! December 23rd, we celebrated with the Mattson's at Green Lake with Grandma & Grandpa, Craig, Tiffany and Katelyn. Grandma got the girls matching pajamas and a slide that they tried out while there was still snow. We enjoyed going to church on Christmas Eve and seeing Grandpa sing in the choir. Here's Anna in her reindeer outfit, the girls in their pj's and the girls sledding.

Christmas Eve afternoon we joined up with the extended Andrews Family at Kim & Jim’s. Anna especially enjoyed talking with Hailey and Lucas. We then went to another Christmas Eve service with Grandma H. and Kristin. Luckily, we were close to the cry room which we were able to put to use as she wanted to talk throughout the sermon. The picture at the top is her in her Christmas outfit, bought by Grandma when we visited Chicago.

Christmas morning, Santa arrived and we celebrated Christmas as a family. Anna really liked her toothbrush! But, she also liked Santa’s gift of a new baby piano. Monday, we celebrated with Grandma H. and Kristin at Kristin’s house. Anna was really excited by her new stuffed Buster puppy from Grandma and a toy car from Kristin. Here's Anna with her toothbrush! After brunch, we headed up to Eagle Ridge at Deer Lake and enjoyed the rest of the week there. Tuesday, Pam, Dick, Jodi, and Katie joined us as we enjoyed the time together. Paul especially enjoyed testing out his new game, Karaoke Revolution. Anna loved all the attention at Deer Lake with all the relatives. She also enjoyed her new snow tube that we were able to try out, pictured below.

Thursday afternoon, we headed back to Green Lake for another night with the entire Mattson clan. We returned Friday with an exhuasted Anna and one happy girl to be back home. She's been a little out of sorts since coming back and doesn't understand why she doesn't get constant attention. But, we'll get her back in a routine soon enough.

Happy New Year!!
