Our niece was named Monday night, Katelyn Maryland Mattson.
Other than welcoming our niece and Anna's cousin into the world, we had a very busy Memorial Day Weekend! Friday night, after packing the car (if we're already full with one kid, will we have to drive separately with two?), we arrived at Green Lake, home of Paul's parents. We enjoyed our evening there and relaxed at their place Saturday. Anna did really well at her first overnight outside home! Here's a picture of her hanging out at Green Lake.
Saturday night, we ventured to Deer Lake, Julie's family lake place. Even though Anna's bassinet had to be in the closet, she didn't seem to mind. She enjoyed all the attention and slept (and ate) like a rock star! Here's a picture of us harrassing her with her life jacket, haven't been brave enough to take her on the boat yet, as the jacket seemed a little big. And the other picture is her passed out after a big day at Deer Lake (we all seem to get that way, so she fits right in!)
