Alex had lots of birthday celebrations. A 4 year old cutie can never have enough, right? Wednesday the 21st, auntie Kiki and grandma came over to celebrate since Kiki was going to be out of town for the family festivities. Ice cream cake was delicious! Kiki & Grandma gave Alex a huge playmobil castle. I'm not sure who loves playing with it more-Alex or Paul :)
Sunday was Alex's birthday party with his friends. His best friend from school, Mason, turned 4 the day after his. We invited their whole class and a few other friends of theirs and had a blast at the Eden Prairie Community Center. Rented the gym and the kids played games and jumped in the bouncer. Fun was had by all!
Festivities concluded at our house with the family. Alex got a U of MN outfit and sorry game from grandma & grandpa and an awesome Cars towel and puzzle from his cousins. The treasured gift was a motorized cars toothbrush (this is all he would tell us he wanted when asked). He even got cars toothpaste to go with it. But, we did try to outdo the toothbrush and bought him a LIGHTNING MCQUEEN bed. Those pics will be on their way shortly.
Alex has his last night in his toddler bed. All the cribs are gone in our house.
