Mother's Day Weekend

Had a great Mother's Day weekend. Paul's birthday present was a "day of fun with me" starting Friday night so we went to Prairie Ale for happy hour/dinner and saw Phantom at the Minnetonka High School that night. Was so impressed by the talent of the high schoolers!! Afterwards, we were even able to go out for a drink & dessert! Saturday, had breakfast at Hell's kitchen downtown. We were going to go biking, but Paul's back wasn't cooperating with him, so we test drove cars instead...Paul is in the market for a replacement for the Accord. Had lunch outside (it was a beautiful day) at Bayside in Excelsior. It was a great time together. That night, we got to enjoy time with the kids, including a trip to a park we discovered not too far from us. It was a hit. Mother's Day was a blessing as well. Enjoyed my time with the kiddos. Here's a picture of me and the kids before church. Before it rained. The rain brought epic naps for the entire Mattson family which was a big blessing.

That night, we had dinner at Katsana's in Plymouth with Paul's parents and my mom and sister. It was fun to celebrate all together. Both of them did something special with the kids for me which was really a treat. My mom & sister helped the kids make me a garden stone and Rhonda made a precious book about me with their help.
