Day in the life-January

January has come & gone and I haven't posted anything. Very behind.

I've been very busy at work and not taking a lot of pictures--2 things that just shouldn't be acceptable!

As of the New Year, Anna is wearing her glasses & doing a great job keeping them on and adapted really well to them. She's become a real pro going potty, but is still working on going #2 in the potty. We keep trying to bribe her with more movies! As of late, she has taken to her toy microphone (which she calls her Mike & Ike) and sings at the top of her lungs. No songs that are real-she's already a songwriter!

Alex has been such a joy this month. He got tubes as of the 12th and recovered really well. He's starting to talk more, but our favorite thing he does right now is give kisses!! (And say "touchdown"). He's starting to become a little person too-having opinions about things and letting us know them! He's been obsessed with taking his shoes off and his pants off during the last month. It's really funny when he takes his pants off while we're out in public and Anna follows suit :)

Together, the kids are inseparable. They love playing together. Just last week, we emptied one of our cupboards in the family room & they keep climbing in there, playing hide & seek and putting their toys in & out of the space.

With the winter weather, we don't do a lot outside. But, we do go to open gym at the Early Childhood building every Saturday morning. It's a great opportunity for the kids to get some large muscle time (and for them to play outside the house!). Here's some pictures.
