We went to Deer Lake this past weekend and shared the lake with Tim, Kate and their new puppy Libby. Libby is sisters with my aunt Pam's new dog, Daisey (in an earlier post). Anna was much more open to playing with Libby and Alex continues to loves dogs. Libby was very good with the kids! The weather wasn't very nice, but it did allow for us to just chill out a lot! It was nice to have a quieter at the lake and I was able to get a lot up to date on our computer. Tim spoiled the kids and gave them fun rides around the deck intheir cars, in between playing with his little girl. Paul recruited Kate to play scrabble (Tim & I are thankful they each have someone to play with, as that's not for us) over the kid's nap and warned Paul that if he takes longer than 30 minutes again on a word, she will not play with him.

Finally, the kids had to get long sleeve pajamas from Walmart since it was so cold. Anna loves her flower jammies and Alex could care less about his, but we all know that I'm a sucker for anything that has my dad's old nickname on jammies...Alex is our "little big guy", in honor of my dad; and this suited him quite well.
