Genetics

Many of you may not know, but Alex failed his hearing test in one of his ears at the hospital. Since then, we've been back to the audiologist twice (including this AM) and he still hasn't passed. At this point, they're not overly concerned, but he does have a small ear canal and could have problems similar to Anna (and her daddy as of late) with ear infections.

A lot of times with the hearing tests, they can't find the right size probe to put in infants ears (they're too small) or there may be fluid that's blocking the test. So on we go to see the ENT (first available appointment is June 2!?!). The ENT doctors are definitely benefiting from the genetic defects of Paul & I...me with my tongue tied and Paul with his crappy ears. I'll keep everyone up to date.
