Childrens Museum

Since Paul had the day off today, we took Anna to the Children's Museum in St. Paul. When Paul used to have Fridays off because he worked nights, we used to have "Paul & Julie day of fun", so we decided we need to bring Anna into the loop and have a "Mattson day of fun". Anna's fun began when we put in her new Elmo DVD into the mini van. She sure liked that.
The children's museum had a Sesame street exhibit, which we thought Anna would like. She loved looking at the pictures of Big Bird, Elmo, Ernie & Bert, Cookie and all the other friends from the street. She also enjoyed playing in the little kids area where she was able to go up and down the slide, over bridges and up rope walls. There was also a "way we live" exhibit where Paul and Anna were able to ride the bus. We capped off our Mattson day of fun at McDonald's for lunch where Anna enjoyed her apple dippers & chicken nuggets. She was asleep in the van before we even hit the freeway.
